What We Kit
Six kitting workflows that cover most D2C, marketplace, and retail bundle programs.
Gift Sets
Multi-product sets with branded boxes, tissue, and inserts. Built ahead of Q4 and promo windows so they ship same-day when orders spike.
Subscription Boxes
Cohort builds from multi-supplier components. Assembled to spec and shipped inside your target window.
Amazon FBA Bundles
Multipacks and bundles built to Amazon spec — polybagged, FNSKU-labeled as the bundle ASIN, prep-compliant.
Product Multipacks
2-packs, 3-packs, and case packs that raise average order value and cut per-unit shipping costs.
Sample & Influencer Kits
PR boxes and sampling programs with custom presentation — built once, shipped to your list.
Retail Display Kits
POP displays, planogram-ready assortments, and retail-compliant case packs for B2B programs.
The Assembly Line
From build spec to same-day shipping — kits are assembled ahead of demand, so orders never wait on assembly.
Spec & Photos
You define the kit: components, packaging, insert placement. We document the build with photos so every run matches.
Assembly Run
Components staged, kits assembled on dedicated lines, scan-verified against the spec. 1-2 days per 1,000 kits.
Stock as One SKU
Finished kits enter inventory as a single SKU — inventory counts sync to your store like any other product.
Ship Same-Day
Kit orders pick and ship like single items — same-day before 2 PM PT, no assembly delay at order time.
What Is Kitting in Fulfillment?
Kitting turns several individual products into one new sellable unit. Instead of picking three items separately every time a gift set sells, the set is assembled once — in bulk, on an assembly line — and stocked as its own SKU. When orders arrive, the kit picks and ships like a single product.
The economics are simple: assembly labor is cheaper in bulk than per-order. A three-item bundle picked at order time costs roughly three pick fees on every order. Pre-kitted, it costs one assembly fee once and one pick fee per order — typically 30-50% less fulfillment labor for bundles that sell predictably.
Every kit starts from a documented build spec:
When to pre-kit vs. kit on demand
- Pre-kit when the bundle sells predictably: best-selling sets, subscription boxes, seasonal gift sets, Amazon bundle ASINs.
- Kit on demand (at the packing station) when combinations vary: build-your-own boxes, personalized sets, low-velocity bundles that would tie up component inventory.
- De-kit when plans change: kits break back down into components and return to regular stock.
Kitting pricing in 2026
Market rates for kitting services: $0.75-1.50 per simple 2-3 item kit, $1.50-3.00 per standard gift set or subscription box, and $3.00-5.00+ for complex builds with custom presentation. Packaging materials bill at cost; component storage at standard pallet storage rates. Runs of 1,000+ kits earn volume pricing.
Kitting for Amazon sellers
Bundles are one of the last easy differentiation plays on Amazon — a unique bundle ASIN has no direct Buy Box competition. We build bundles to Amazon's prep requirements as part of our FBA prep services: components assembled, polybagged or boxed, FNSKU-labeled as the bundle ASIN, and shipped to Amazon fulfillment centers from 15 minutes off the Port of Long Beach.
Kitting for subscription boxes
Subscription boxes are kitting at scale on a deadline: hundreds to thousands of identical builds, assembled from components that arrive from multiple suppliers, shipped inside a narrow monthly window. Our subscription box fulfillment team runs cohort builds ahead of each cycle so renewal day is a shipping event, not an assembly scramble.
